Description Notes
Copper tripod base supporting brass column. Polarising apparatus pivots on the top of the column by means of a knurled brass screw. Eyepiece adjusted by means of a knurled brass screw; eyepiece section moves on a ratcheted column. Tilting rectangular mirror. Degree circle attached above eyepiece-object glass column. This is divided 0 - 180˚ - 0, numbered by 10˚, graduated to 1˚. Vernier moves over scale and can be locked in place.
