Large sliding microtome, by the Cambridge Scientific Instrument Company, English, 1909. [Previously mis-accessioned as a ‘bench centrifuge’ - see Notes]

Black coated large metal frame microtome with brass fittings and wooden and brass handle.

Parts of this instrument are stored separately in a box. Some or all of these parts may not actually relate to this instrument. They include a assay-tube spinner centrifuge attachment that definitely does not relate to this instrument; and other assorted parts, which may have been donated with the object but not actually directly relate to it.
