Description Notes

Metal tube, stopped at one end with a piece of cork.
Contains balance consisting of a metal skewer with a spring attached to it. This originally fastened to a brass ring fitted at the top of a paper scale with the scale hand-drawn in ink.

Condition fair; complete.

Second metal tube stopped at one end with a piece of cork contains balance with a spring attached to it. This is connected to a brass ring at the top of the paper scale hand drawn in ink on graph paper. Also a cracked mirror part way down with scale scratched onto it.
