Description Notes

Suspended magnet, reflecting Galvanometer, Lord Rayleigh type.

Rectangular ebonite base; three brass levelling feet; two bubble levels; eight brass terminals; four small vertical coils in brass holders, mounted on brass base-plate; brass standard supports suspension; suspended system includes light horizontal aluminium wire with short, curved bar magnets at either end; ends of magnets extend into centres of the four coils; mirror and small astatic magnet pair above aluminium wire; glass dome cover.

Condition good (suspension broken); incomplete (mirror missing)
