Suspended coil, reflecting Galvanometer, Deprez-D’Arsonval type.
Circular ebonite base; three levelling feet; two brass terminals on ebonite plate; U-shaped, laminated magnet mounted vertically with two brass brackets; brass suspension tube and front and back circular glazed windows mounted on top of magnet; suspended coil surrounds fixed iron tube mounted on brass post; mirror above coil; lower suspension connected to roughly adjustable brass spring; brass cylindrical cover with annular top.
