Suspended coil, reflecting Galvanometer, D’Arsonval type.
Circular ebonite base; three ebonite levelling feet; two ebonite-covered terminals; removable brass, black-painted cylindrical case with vertical rectangular glazed window in front; vertical horseshoe magnet; coil suspended, around fixed iron core, within cylindrical gap of magnet; circular mirror above coil; zero adjustment knobs at side and top; coil clamping control at top.
