Description Notes
Triangular wooden base; three metal levelling feet; two copper terminals on ebonite plate; wooden frame supports magnet and vertical rectangular metal tube holding suspension system; magnet has adjustable magnetic ‘shunt’, controlled by plated brass knob and threaded rod, to vary magnetic field strength; hole in suspension tube shows circular mirror, and coil surrounding fixed iron core; ebonite zero adjustment knob on top. Wooden rectangular case with circular glazed window.
Condition good; complete.
