Description Notes
Rectangular wooden base; two brass terminals on ebonite block; controlling bar magnet slides in horizontal brass frame; galvanometer mounted on circular brass base; two brass standards support horizontal white dial, with circular sclae divided 0 - 90 - 0 - 90 - 0, numbered by 10, graduated to 0.5; two coils underneath dial; pivoted axle supports two magnetic needles within the two coils, and aluminium pointer above dial; brass frame above dial allows instrument to be used as an electrometer (?); cylindrical glass cover with glass top and brass ring frame.
Condition good; incomplete (top attachment to central post missing)
