Decade resistance box, by H. Tinsley and Co., English, first half 20th Century.
Wooden box with ebonite top; two brass terminals; four eleven-position rotary switches with ebonite knobs and glass-encased settings (0 to 10, 100, 1000 and 10000) ohms. Resistance given as ‘RESIDUAL RESISTANCE .01 OHM’. Also values given as ‘OHMS AT 20˚C’.
