Description Notes

Silver plated brass polarimeter with swing-away polariser, rotary analyser with degree circle and divided 0 - 90˚ - 0 - 90˚ - 0 numbered by 10 graduated to 1; vernier scale to measure to minutes of a degree. Rotatable glass solution tube with brass ends. Fitted case with blue velvet lining and brass hinges and hook fasteners. Tie-on paper label inside the box reads, 'CI Co Ltd dec 1925'.

Condition fair; tarnishing on polariser; complete
