Description Notes

Brass framed sextant with lattice-type frame. Adjustable index mirror with four shades, horizon glass with three shades, telescope mount with lateral adjustment with knurled screw. One screw-in brass telescopes, with three screw-in eyepieces. Brass index arm with clamp and long tangent screw. Reading glass on subsidiary arm. Silvered scale divided [5] - 0 - [150], numbered by 10 graduated to 10´. Wooden handle fits in brass mount. Three brass feet. Keystone wooden box with brass hinges, hook fasteners and lock (no key).

Condition fair; incomplete (missing eyepiece)
