Description Notes

Mahogany case with drawer forms base for balance. Screw-in 2-part column, releave lever at base linked by cord to lever arm carrying steel suspension, with zero index, for steel balance arm with swan’s-neck ends. Two brass pans suspended by cords (replacements). Miscellaneous collection of weights, some round, some square, several contained in a wooden box and several in a round ivory box marked ‘QUEEN’S MAUNDAY MONEY’ on lid.

Condition: good (chip out of corner of case); complete (cords are replacements).
