Description Notes

Wooden unequal beam; circular cross-section with finial on end of long arm. Brass studs graduate beam with major graduation every 5 studs. Circular iron counterpoise with hook and brass ring round beam. Brass load shears turn over the beam end with nail bearing and open hook. Set of three brass ‘knife edges’ through beam; one for load shears, other two for gallows with suspension ring.
