Description Notes
Rusted brass instrument, similar shape to circumferentor, but with turnable plate lodged by screw clamp. Bubble is on this plate in raised case. Needle in glass-topped raised box on plate. Scale read through 2 glass view-holes on surface of plate as it turns. Angle and rotation fixed by screw fittings on 2 plates around the stem of the instrument, one forming the base stand. Box.
Condition: poor; complete.
Set of 8 notebooks with observations made in the Spokane Indian Reservation in the north west United States.
Condition good.
