Description Notes
Black-painted wooden baseboard, hinged in middle, with channel for sliding secondary coil. 91.7cm boxwood scale with millimetre divisions on one side of base plate. Primary coil fixed to wooden support at one end with electromagnetic contact breaker, adjustment and five brass terminals. Secondary coil mounted on wooden bobbin which slides in channel in baseboard and can pass over the primary coil. Two brass terminals on secondary coil. With two insulated electrical leads connected to a spark gap with ebonite handle (not original).
