Description Notes

Wooden fitted box. Brass syringe with ivory ‘T’ handle. 3-way valve operated by spring lever on body of syringe. Brass tube attachment (push-on) for outflow (when used as stomach pump) or pick-up (when used as enema). India rubber silk-covered tube with brass attachments at each end: one pushes on to syringe; the other screws into ivory nozzle. Two nozzles - one straight, one at right angles. Two wooden guards fit over nozzles. For stomach pump: coiled wire tube covered with elastic gum; nozzle end with four holes. (Attachment to pump missing).
