Description
A wide variety of objects associated with the care of invalids date from the Victorian era and include bed pans or urinals. Pewter urinals and bedpans from the 18th Century onwards are regularly found, as are the more unusual female urinals, called bourdaloues, many of which were highly decorated.
This particular bed pan is manufactured by the high street store and pharmist Boots.
