Description Notes

Engraved advertisement sheet printed on both sides. Advert for an exhibition where visitors can see for themselves the powers of the microscope by viewing among other things the ‘cheese bug’. Yellowed paper with a few imperfections. Tear on top edge.
Reverse carries the inscription:
‘The Exhibition commences at 11 o’clock and every succeeding hour
till 6, or later if requested for a Party of Six Persons.
Admittance, 1s. Children half price.
Court, Printer, 14 Cromwell Brooke Street, Holborn.’
Mounted and framed, back hidden.
