Description Notes
Rectangular wooden box containing capacitor. Two pairs of brass terminals marked ‘Mercury break’ and ‘BATTERY’ respectively. Two-position ebonite and brass switch. Ebonite and brass discharge rods on two ebonite pillars (rods missing and pillars broken). Primary and secondary coils mounted on two ebonite standards and covered with ebonite sheet. Oscillating Nieff-hammer contact interruptor with adjustment screws, mounted on brass pillar.
Condition poor (both discharge rod pillars broken; coil covering broken); incomplete (both discharge rods and pillars missing).
