Description Notes
Print of Joseph Wright’s painting of the Philosopher with Air Pump. The picture shows a group, standing and seated, around a table littered with pneumatic apparatus, including an air pump connected to a glass reciever set on a pillar. In the reciever is a bird. The scene is lit by a single candle on the table.
Mounted and framed.
