Description Notes
Instrument pivots on circular wooden base; three brass levelling feet; four brass terminals mounted on ebonite plate fixed to rotatable wooden base; two vertical coaxial coils in circular wooden frames, separated by their radius (approximately six inches); central wooden pillar supports horizonal brass case, with glass top, for pivoted magetic pointer and silvered dial; scale divided by degrees into quadrants; in addition to the fine-wire coils connected to the four terminals, there is a single circle of copper rod in each of the two circular frames, connected in a series, with two threaded brass terminals at its ends.
Condition fine and complete.
