Description Notes

Circular brass base; three levelling feet; each hollow box quadrant supported on glass post; brass rod supporting suspension with insulated feed through and terminal at top; suspended needle with light aluminium vane; glass cup with silvered outer surface rests on base; brass connecting rods with terminals lead to two quadrants; wires connecting opposite quadrants connected to terminals on underside of quadrants; screw adjustment for positioning one quadrant; rotating switch with ebonite handle extends from under the base; glass cover; brass shielding cage. No inscriptions.

Condition: fine (suspension broken); incomplete (mirror, one nut for quadrant support, and rod for electrical connection to quadrant missing).
