How to work with the spectroscope, a manual of practical manipulation with spectroscopes of all kinds ... [facsimile]

Description

The author explains in the Preface to this booklet that his aim is simply to give detailed procedures for the use of the various kinds of spectroscopic apparatus available.
To accomplish this, each model of spectroscope is given up to a page (some require up to two) of detailed instructions, in a linear style i.e. what to do first, what to do next etc., accompanied by observations and background information en route. The text covers seventeen types of spectroscopes
Interspersed between these instruments are instructions for using various accessories e.g. induction coils, condensers, regulators, screens, and information on spectrum analysis.
The document ends with a bibliography; and a price-list for all the instruments that figure in this account.
